Sabaton’s discography contains 10 studio albums, 3 live albums, 2 compilation albums, 26 music videos, 1 EP, and 25 singles. This body of work includes Carolus Rex, which was recorded in separate Swedish and English versions and ended up certified gold in Poland and has a reported 40,000 album sales in Sweden making it the most successful Swedish heavy metal album ever.
Studio Albums
The band’s first studio album, Primo Victoria, was released on March 4, 2005. And the album found an audience in Sweden with a #43 peak placement on their music charts.
The band continued charting well in Sweden with their subsequent albums, while slowly rising in popularity until 208’s The ARt of War, which exploded through the charts to find a #5 peak placement in Sweden.
But it wasn’t until 2010’s Coat of Arms that the band truly found international charting success. As the album not only peaked at #2 in Sweden, but has also made it to the charts in Austria,, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, and Poland. The album also found gold certification by POL.
Since then, the band has reliably made it ot the charts with their album releases. With many of their albums selling well in Sweden and gaining certification and chart placement in multiple territories.
